2 large onions, sliced
2 TBsp butter
Pinch of salt
12 brioche buns
Southern Style Pulled Pork in Smokey & Sweet BBQ Sauce
Melt butter in large saucepan until sizzling. Slowly add handfuls of onions to allow time to shrink and become translucent. Continue adding small handfuls of onions. Reduce heat to medium-high and cook onions, stirring regularly. If onions begin to stick, add a small splash of chicken broth. Add in salt. Continue cooking onions for 15-20 min until a dark golden brown, stirring constantly.
Warm Southern Style Pulled Pork in Smokey & Sweet BBQ Sauce as directed. Pile the meat into the halved brioche buns and top with caramelized onions.
