Caribbean Turkey Tango
INGREDIENTS
1 - 680 gram package of 44th Street Turkey Chili
1 cup of bow-tie pasta
1/2 cup corn
1/2 cup pineapple chunks
1/2 cup kidney beans
3 T water
1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
PREPARE BOW-TIE PASTA
In a medium-size pot, boil 5 cups of salted water, add pasta and cook just until tender, drain, rinse and set aside
PREPARE TURKEY CHILI
Prepare 44thStreet Turkey Chili according to package instructions:
Leave in the microwaveable tray provided and cut three slits in pouch.
Microwave on MEDIUM (50% power) 10 minutes or until hot.
Let stand for 2 minutes.
PREPARE TURKEY TANGO
In a medium-size skillet, mix water, pineapple chunks, corn and kidney beans, and heat at medium temperature until the mixture begins to boil, stirring frequently
Remove 44thStreet Turkey Chili from package and mix into skillet
Add cooked pasta, chili flakes, and continue to stir over medium heat until all ingredients are thoroughly heated.
